BASIC SYSTEM

The basic system for intermediate
cutting-volumes

System components
 Pile Hoists
 Automatic Joggers
 Scale Counters
 Air-Board Lift

Description
This Baumann jogging-system is completely equipped and allows the economic processing of intermediate cutting-volumes.
The sheets are pre-jogged, controlled visually, counted and restacked by the unloader. Sheets of cardboard or chips can be inserted between the layers, automatically, if required. The pile can be stored is then transferred towards the subsequent cutting-system.
Thanks to the storage as a pile, air, which had been caught between the sheets due to the printing process, can evaporate, guaranteeing accurate cutting-results.
This jogging system is highly appropriate for label-production as well as for finishing companies, with important differences between cutting and jogging-times.

Pile Hoists
BAUMANN pile hoists lift the layers onto working-height, so that the operator is no longer forced to bend down in order to take the next layer. The productivity is increased considerably. BAUMANN pile turners are also a simple and ergonomically sound solution to restack printed sheets or other cut products manually after the cutting-process.

Automatic Joggers
BAUMANN automatic joggers guarantee the precise alignment of printed sheets prior to the cutting-process. BAUMANN automatic joggers are very solid and reliable, guaranteeing perfect jogging-results. All parameters can be immediately adjusted to suit the currently processed material. After the jogging-process, the air is pressed out of the layer automatically, increasing the accuracy of the subsequent cutting process.

Scale Counters
Jogging and counting of sheets in one operation saves time and space. BAUMANN scale counters are delivered with an alphanumeric key-board, a serial interface and an integrated printer. A reference scale, which facilitates the determination of the single sheet’s weight, is available as an option.

Air-Board Lift
BAUMANN air-board lifts buffer pre-jogged layers prior to the cutting-process. A pile is formed after the jogging-process; the single layers are divided by wooden air-boards, which facilitate the separation of the layers as well as the transport towards the subsequent cutting process. The air-boards are put in or taken out manually by the operator.
