Training for mechanics and service technicians
In November, we held a training for mechanics and service-technicians here at our BaumannWohlenberg cutting centre in Solms. The main topics were the installation, maintenance and trouble-shooting at Wohlenberg high-speed cutters and Baumann peripheric equipment. Of course, there was also time to exchange practical experiences, face-to-face with colleagues from other countries.
Cutting SYstem wows the crowd
2/3 of DRUPA 2016 are already history – the perfect time for a first look at the intermediate result of the show, which has so far been very positive, according to BaumannWohlenberg.
„It is overwhelming to see, how many visitors are interested in our new Cutting System Gamma 4.0“, says Volkmar Assmann, managing director at BaumannWohlenberg. This system has been made for all customers, who process large cutting volumes and who are confronted with cutting times of more than 5 minutes per ream – the majority of the orders consisting of small and medium print runs.

DRUPA 2016 - BaumannWohlenberg presenta el sistema "Corte 4.0"
El área de corte suele ser muy heterogéneo, con una gran variedad de trabajos.

Expansion by a high-speed cutter
Atta.45 Printing AB in Järfälla (near Stockholm) is one of the biggest printing companies in Sweden, offering a large range of graphic arts services, from offset to digital printing, from bookbinding to large-format and siplay printing including service, dispatch and logistics from one hand.
Recently, the company expanded its range of machines in the postpress area with a Baumann-Wohlenberg cutting system. the cutting system consists of a Wohlenberg high-speed cutter WB 225 with a large-format unloader Ba 7 and an automated jogging system BASA 7.
Moreover, Atta.45 decided to install a Baumann pile turner BSW 7 LDV as well as a Baumann restacker AS 1000.

Conferencias de la PrintPromotion en América Latina
Participación exitosa de Baumann Maschinenbau Solms en las conferencias de la PrintPromotion en América Latina
De cara a la próxima drupa 2016, en octubre de 2015 tuvo lugar el viaje de conferencias por América Latina, organizado por la Asociación Alemana de Construcción de Máquinas (VDMA). Bajo el lema „high-tec for the printing industry – getting ready for drupa“, el tour comenzó en Bogotá/Colombia el día 15 de octubre. El viaje continuó por Lima/Perú (16.10) y Quito/Ecuador (19.10.). La última parada tuvo lugar en la ciudad de México el 21 de octubre de 2015.
Durante las presentaciones, además de la gama clásica de productos marca BAUMANNWOHLENBERG, el principal objetivo consistía en presentar las innovaciones tecnológicas y los productos con altas ventajas competitivas. El concepto funcionó: Los numerosos participantes siguieron las conferencias con gran interés, los catálogos se agotaron rápidamente e incluso ya han llegado primeras peticiones a raíz de las presentaciones.
Para Baumann Maschinenbau Solms, la participación en el PrintPromotion Tour fue una muy buena plataforma para promocionar la marca BAUMANNWOHLENBERG en América Latina de una forma mucho más intensa.
Manipulados Cuarte opta por Wohlenberg
Siguiendo la línea marcada desde la generación anterior, que básicamente se sustentaba sobre la necesidad imperiosa de reinvertir los beneficios de la compañía para renovar el parque de maquinaria, Manipulados Cuarte ha optado por la adquisición de una nueva línea de corte Baumann Wohlenberg 115.

Desde el 1 de mayo de 2015, WRH Global Australia con sede en Matraville (Nueva Gales del Sur, Australia), es el nuevo distribuidor exclusivo para Baumann-Wohlenberg en Australia y Nueva Zelanda.
La cooperación se inició con motivo de la reciente feria Printex en Sydney. Los productos de Baumann-Wohlenberg complementan perfectamente la actual cartera de productos de WRH Global Australia en el campo del procesamiento de papel y ya hay varios prometedores proyectos en común.

During Interpack 2014, Baumann has already presented a top-quality bagging machine. This week, the new website www.baumannpacking.de has gone online, dealing exclusively with the new Baumann vertical form, fill and seal machines bvs.
